Our business was set up in May 2008 and since then we have managed to gain thousands of happy customers who have helped cut their home and office electricity bills as well as doing their bit for the environment.

Terms and Conditions
Shipping And Delivery

Your order will be packed and dispatched on the same day as the order is placed as long as it is before 2:30pm, after 2:30pm your order will be packed and await shipping till the following morning.

Orders will normally arrive within 2-3 working days (Monday - Friday) of ordering - Some items and orders will be shipped 24 Hour delivery (Next Working day - Monday - Friday - mainland UK only), these items such as LED floodlights are advertised as 24 hour delivery..

Standard Shipping is charged at £3.49 for orders less than £50 and for orders of £50 or more shipping is free.


All orders are sent by tracked delivery - If not in a card maybe be left and you can either collect from your local collections office or re-arrange delivery for free online or you can check the status of your order by contacting us and we can provide you with the tracking details.

Please provide us with a shipping address where someone will be available to take the parcel (this can be a business address). If an order is returned to us as no one has been available to take the order we will refund you minus the cost to us for delivery.

Please note that occasionally parcels and packages can take longer to arrive due to postal delays - Please let us know if your order has not arrived within 7 working days of shipping, we cannot refund or cancel an order that has been shipped and not arrived within 14 days. however we can have the order tracked and let you know its location.

Distance Selling Regulations 2000
You have the right to cancel an order under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000. This right ends on the expiry of 7 working days, after the day on which the consumer receives the goods. If you have simply changed your mind about any item ordered and you wish to return it, then in line with the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) you can do so provided you inform us of your decision within 14 days of receipt. Goods must be returned in an unused state and must be complete with their original packaging.

We cannot be held liable for non delivery when details are not correct or goods cannot be accepted.

Please also note that over 40% of lost or missing parcels are often waiting to be collected from a neighbour or from your local Royal Mail sorting office or Post Office, so please check with them first if your order has not arrived.

Export Orders
Please note that we are unable to accept orders for delivery outside the UK.

Warranties / Refunds / Returns Policy
Please note that where quoted, life ratings for light bulbs and lamps are indicative - They are not a guarantee.

We offer a full 21 day money back guarantee on any faulty product (Unlike most our competitors 3-7 day guarantees), so if a product stops working within 21 days of receipt due to a faulty product - please get in touch with us and we can explain how to return an item to get your money back or a replacement sent to you. Please note we cannot replace or offer a refund on any lighting item after 21 days of receipt due to external factors that may have caused these lamps to fail. (All our lamps are tested before shipping to make sure the lamps are working correctly).

If you order a product and find it does not meet your requirements then you must let us know within 7 days of shipping - If you wish to then return the item we will refund the cost of the item minus the postage charge (Please note we can only accept returns as long as the item/s being returned are returned suitably packaged in new or unused condition and are suitable for resale).

Please note when returning an item you will need to contact us first for our returns address and returns information.

When returning an item, please make sure you include your full name and contact details and a copy of the original invoice, and the original packaging if possible and return to us (please also obtain a certificate of posting as we cannot refund items that we do not receive if lost in the post).
At the same time, please tell us why you are returning your goods, so we can quickly put things right.

Please be aware that all returns are thoroughly tested by us on return. Any returned item which is found not to be faulty will be returned to the customer at the customers cost.

Please check any faulty bulbs on another fitting carefully before contacting and then returning them to us. Refunds are not provided for returned products which are in good working order or after 21 days from the received dated.

Please also note that we cannot offer a guarantee on lamps if they have been broken or damaged by fitted incorrectly.

Faults or failures occurring after 21 days of receiving goods but within the manufacturer’s warranty period
If the item or items you purchase become faulty after 21 days after your receipt of the goods, please contact the manufacturer of the product directly.
After 21 days any faults or failures should be dealt with by the customer and the manufacturer in accordance with any manufacturer's warranty.

Making A Purchase

Buying online from Energy Saving Products Ltd could not be easier. Just browse our store and add any items that you want to purchase into your shopping cart. After you have finished your selection of products simply click on the Checkout at the top right of every page. You will then be able to sign up and choose you payment option from PayPal or PayPal's credit card service (Secure online credit and debit card facility).

When confirmation of your order is received this will indicate that we have received your order, it does not however indicate that a contract exists between us until we ship your order. Once we have checked you order, we will send you details that your order has been processes and hence a contract between us is now in place. Cheap Energy Saving Light Bulbs has implemented this policy in the unlikely event that that there has been a mistake in our pricing or that we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable and or refund your order.

Energy Saving Products Ltd has taken every effort to ensure that the information contained within our website is correct, however Energy Saving Products Ltd cannot be held responsible for any errors and omissions or any information which may be incomplete, inaccurate or may have become out of date. In the event a price is wrong on our site we will notify you by email and have your order refunded in full, if you are unsure about some information displayed or a price shown please contact us before placing your order.

All orders made through Energy Saving Products Ltd are accepted once the order has been updated to shipped.

WEEE Regulations
Energy Saving Products Ltd (www.energysavingonline.co.uk) are obliged under the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive to offer our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when you buy from us a new Electrical or Electronic product.

For example, if a customer bought a new WEEE item from us we would accept their old WEEE item and prevent it going into a landfill site by disposing of it safely. Customers must return their WEEE item to us within 28 days of purchasing their new item. For further information on how this can be done please contact us.

Under the WEEE directive and regulations, all new electrical goods should also now be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol shown below:


Items which display this symbol show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.

Battery Recycling

Under the Waste Battery Regulations, Energy Saving products Ltd (www.energysavingonline.co.uk), are now offering a take back scheme for all portable waste batteries.

If you wish you can bring your old portable batteries for recycling to our offices at:

Most supermarkets and shops that sell batteries will also have collection bins for used batteries, and some town halls, libraries or schools may also set up collection points. End-users may find stores in their local area more accessible.
